We want to speak to you today, with complete candor, about what it means to work with HIT Srl. In today's market, most companies are sales-focused, structured with aggressive commercial teams whose primary goal is to "close an order" as quickly as possible.
We have made a different choice. The DNA of HIT Srl is not commercial; it is technical. Our team is not composed of salespeople trained to take orders, but of specialists. When you call HIT Srl, you are not speaking to a middleman; you are speaking directly to an expert.
Today our staff is composed by different technicians and engineers with deep backgrounds in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, electrical systems, and, of course, complex logistics.
You probably already know many of them due to their previous long periods spent in some of the main Italian cranes, forklifts, and reachstacker manufacturers. This choice sometimes penalizes us on a purely commercial level—we are not the company that will tell you "Yes" in 30 seconds just to get the order—but it rewards us, and you, immensely in quality.
From its beginning HIT SRL is directed by Dott. Ing. Paolo Soncini, electronic engineer, experienced in mobile harbour crane, electric and electronic system, hydraulics systems, commissioning and crane testing (ex-senior engineer of Fantuzzi Reggiane Spa and Reggiane Cranes and Plants Spa).
Our true value emerges when things get complicated. Our ideal client is the maintenance manager in the field, the fleet supervisor, the engineer who has a machine down and a problem to solve. That kind of professional has no time to waste with a sales interface who cannot tell the difference between an inductive sensor and a capacitive one.
When a customer calls us because a component is obsolete, our technical team doesn't just say "it's not available." They begin an investigation: they analyze the schematic, understand the function, and work to find an OEM alternative or a functional equivalent. We are not here to sell you a box. We are here to help you get your equipment moving again.
Our suppliers are mainly the true OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of the equipment that we manage but we also deal with other specialist in spare parts. Ours are mainly international customers: from single forklift owners to multinational terminal operators, from world wide agents of most important manufacturers to government ministry.
We are not salespeople. We are problem-solvers. And we are proud of it.
