HIT SRL technical desk · Fantuzzi SF technical card · October 2026

A parking brake light, transmission oil and coolant thermometers, low brake oil and low engine oil pressure lights, a fuel gauge and battery charge, glow plug and blocked air filter lights, according to the 2003 operator's manual, the HIT SRL technical desk notes. The same manual asks for the parking brake light to be out before driving off, as set out in the HIT SRL technical cards. It asks for the brake fluid tank under the seat to be topped up when its light stays on, according to the same manual, as recorded by the HIT SRL technical desk.

Fantuzzi SF U: who checks the limit switches and how often?

HIT SRL technical desk · Fantuzzi SF technical card · October 2026

The operator checks the limit switches, the electrical controls and their indicators every day and reports any fault at once, as HIT SRL's technical desk reads it. The 2003 maintenance manual treats the limit switches as safety devices and has the electrical controls checked every day in the same way, as recorded by the HIT SRL technical desk.

HIT SRL technical desk · Fantuzzi SF technical card · October 2026

With a button beside the control levers, which lights up when the brake is on, according to the 2003 operator's manual, the HIT SRL technical desk notes. The same manual warns that driving with the parking brake applied can make the brakes fail, and asks for it to be applied, with the engine stopped, every time the operator leaves the machine, as recorded by the HIT SRL technical desk.

Important — general guidance only – Fantuzzi SF Technical Cards

The information on this page is general technical guidance based on the field experience of HIT SRL's service technicians with port handling equipment, on the manufacturer's technical documentation consulted during service work on customers' machines or found in public sources, and on published sources on the history of Reggiane, Fantuzzi and Fantuzzi Reggiane. It is not machine-specific and does not replace the manufacturer's documentation.

Always refer to the operation and maintenance manual issued for your specific machine, model, serial number and configuration. Specifications, tolerances, tightening torques, service intervals and fluid types vary between manufacturers, between models of the same manufacturer, between production series of the same model, and with the operating environment: two visually identical components may be tightened to different torque values depending on who built the machine, and a unit working in arctic conditions requires different lubricants and service intervals from an identical unit working in tropical heat. Local regulations may impose further requirements. Where this page and your machine's manual differ, the manual prevails.

Maintenance and repair work must be carried out only by qualified personnel, with the machine isolated and secured according to the applicable safety procedures.

HIT Srl accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss arising from the use of this general information.
