Fantuzzi CS45: how much oil does the hydraulic system take?
850 l in the 2013 filling table of the CS 45 KM, a quantity shared by the hydraulic system and the cooling circuit of the wet disc brakes, as recorded at HIT SRL. Fantuzzi CS45: which hydraulic oil is specified?
SAE 80W oil to API GL-4, in every edition of the filling tables, as logged by the HIT SRL technical desk. The 2013 filling table of the CS 45 KM specifies a multipurpose oil with limited-slip properties, a viscosity of 50–60 mm²/s at 40 °C, a viscosity index of 150 or higher and compatibility with the seal rubbers; the same oil serves the cooling circuit of the wet disc brakes, as recorded at HIT SRL. The earlier filling tables for the KC, KM, KL, KS and KE specify SAE 80W to API GL-4, as recorded by the HIT SRL technical desk.

Fantuzzi CS 45 KM: what filtration is required when topping up the hydraulic oil?
Pre-filtration to 10 microns, according to the 2013 maintenance manual of the CS 45 KM, the HIT SRL technical desk notes. The manual requires topping-up fluid to be pre-filtered at 10 microns and poured in through the quick coupling on the filter covers, as set out in the HIT SRL technical cards. Fantuzzi CS 45 KM: what is the accumulator precharge interval?
